Terminal diseases are the
most common in the world. It is difficult to say why people are suffering from such a
terrible illnesses. What is the most painful that children are suffering from such illnesses too.
The reasons of terminal disease may be these one:
- genetic
- explosion in Chernobyl
- eating habits
- pollution
All these facts are well known for us, but we steel do not know how to fight with terminal diseases. We only can help sick persons. Here are some propositions how to help:
- communication with people who have the same problems
- traveling
- day centres
- medical treatment
The most important help is family support. It is difficult to know that
your family member is sick, but
you must be strong and help as
you can. Sometime terminal ill people live a long and
beautiful life, but not often. They must live in good conditions and have a lot of money. We as a social worker should help as a
professional, show the good side even there is no hope...
In conclusion, I would like to say ' If God closes a door, he always open a window '...
